Good News Friday - traveling edition
I survived another week at work. I have looming deadlines that are making me feel stressed. I was telling Other Writer the other day that deadlines are like Dementors, hanging around, casting a shadow, and sucking all the joy out of my life. He told me to think happy thoughts. I said yea, and eat lots of chocolate! I’m also trying to fight my stress by being productive and proactive. I closed three doc bugs before I left work on Thursday. I’m making progress. Go me!
I got cash at the ATM in the office park, stopped at Panera to buy breakfast, and got everything pulled out and mostly packed. I bought my tickets online last night before I went to bed. I’m posting this at o-dark-thirty in the morning before leaping into the car for the drive down to Williamsburg for Military Through the Ages. I’m so excited to see so many of my reenactor peeps, even the change in weather forecast (60% chance of rain on Saturday, boo!) can’t get me down. You’re not a reenactor if you haven’t gotten wet and muddy at an event.
And she’s off! *Zoom*

And on Thursday Boskone celebrated Pi day on their blog. (includes a number of interesting recipes for folks with dietary restrictions)
