Saturday morning I woke up around 8:00. But decided that, since it was Saturday, I could roll back over and get a few more minutes sleep. Fast forward to three and a half hours later, when I finally woke up again at 11:30. *yawns* Guess I desperately needed some more sleep.
I can neither confirm nor deny if there were Girl Scout Cookies for breakfast this weekend. Saturday was spent slugging about in the Comfy Chair™ writing the previously posted pile o’ posts. And watching TV on the DVR and on DVD.
Sunday I answered the buzzer to go shovel out the car, only to discover that there really wasn’t any shoveling to do. Huh? We got maybe 2-4 inches of snow (it was blowing around so much it was hard to tell). Whist brushing off the windshield, the bit of plastic on the end of my wiper snapped off. I’ve been needing new wiper blades, but last time I was in Target, they didn’t have my size. Now I couldn’t put it off any longer. So I drove up to Nashua and bought new wipers and a burrito. My life, it’s exciting, no? ;-)
Sunday afternoon was laundry and some time spent in the sewing room. I’d like to say that I got a lot of sewing done. But in reality I got a lot of ironing done (darn pre-washed linen, gets all wrinkly!). And a little sewing. I think it’s actually the first time I’ve fired up the sewing machine in maybe a year? At any rate, it’s been way too long. After dinner I tucked myself in front of the TV and watched a couple more episodes of Human Target season one on DVD. And the taxes might have gotten done. I will never figure out how I can get Big Money back from the feddies, and still manage to owe the state of Taxachusetts $16 every year. WTF Massachusetts? WTF?
