I'm pretty late on this, and I'd wager that anyone who cares has already been there, done that but--if you think you might like Uhura even a little bit (and well you should because she is, how do you say it, FUCKING AWESOME) and want to read something amazing, I recommend Break by yahtzee63 (Star Trek AOS, R, Spock/Uhura). I can't stop thinking about it, and how much I love it. :)
