WalkenFest 2008 In Less Than Two Weeks! June 7th - 2:00 PM - My Apartment
Hey kids, how are ya? I'm writing to let ya know that WalkenFest '08 is about a week away, and I'm hoping to make it an even BETTER success than it was last year! This year we're going to again be showing three movies plus clips, interviews and so on. Here's what will be shown so far:
Movies:
1. Puss In Boots. Live action Puss in Boots wherein Walken plays Puss. It's one of his favorite movies, and after watching it you'll see why.
2. Brainstorm. A classic sci-fi movie wherein Walken plays a researcher, creating a system that can record and playback people's experiences.
3. Suicide Kings. An awesome comedy film with both Walken AND Dennis Leary. Probably one of the funniest films Walken has been in.

And whatever else I can find. ;)
So clear your calendar for Saturday, June 7th, starting at 2 PM. This will be held at my apartment here in Los Angeles. If you need the address, please email me individually and I'll add you to the evite with all the info.
I do have two parking spots, but they will go quickly so for most folks, street parking will be the order of the day. Drinks and snacks will be provided, but I ask that you also bring something to share with other guests.
