Meet The Parents: Day 3
I come home today, the apartment looks a little cleaner. Leticia's dad is laying on the couch/bed/futon thing (bouch? ced? buton? I dunno) while Leticia and her mom are making a dinner of fish and veggies. I had nothing to do, so I spent an hour installing our new all-in-one Cannon printer/scanner/copier to Leticia's computer. It's kind of intricate, but it comes together well enough and in about 45 minutes I have the printer installed and running. Now I need to figure out how to connect it to two computers, because it is a SWEET little (well, not so little) machine.
Once I'm done, Leticia and her mom go to the nearby $2.99 clothing store (where EVERYTHING...and I mean EVERYTHING is $2.99), while Leticia's dad watches a Nova special on Einstein. Right now he's talking to me (as I type this) about the existence of dark matter, and how only a small percentage of the universe is actual matter (like 4% or some such).
Overall, a very light day, but a productive one. I think I'll go to sleep soon. I'm still wiped out from yesterday. Have a shiny night everyone.
