This entry triggered fond memories of X-Com. So much so that I went to do a little search to see if there's been any progress in "X-Com like" games . . . and, apparently, there has.

Looks like (at some point or another) I'm going to loose hours, nay . . . days of my life to one of those things

Ah yes, X-Com.Such a marvelous game. And srsly, why go for a cheap copy when you can get the original. ;)
