just like my outfits!...well, not always, but often.
Anyway, here's a piece of music that I think you will like. It's a Liszt transcription (for piano) of a Schubert lied (for piano and soprano) called 'Auf dem wasser zu singen'...or, 'To be sung on the sea'. It's a rather strange and unique piece, both dark and bright at the same time. I, at least, find it to be one of the most moving pieces I have heard.
You are quite right! I'm excited that you both know my taste in music and have the ability to put it on the internet. What are your favorite lieder? Aside from Auf dew Wasser, I like Die junge Nonne, De Manner sind mechant, and Des Musensohn. I suspect he composed much more than I have, which is worrisome.
I went to a concert and some Khachaturian was performed; it was a trio for piano, violin, and oboe, I think. It was great.
Sorry about not sending some Arensky; I don't know how. Can I do it via e-mail?
Thank you! It sure would be nice to enjoy all the luxuries your exciting life yields, but for now I'll have to do with Banana Republic and cooking at home. Where's your pictures? I must admit I don't check my friends list very often, but when I do and you've posted pictures, your face is missing. I find this disappointing. But you have some great shoes.
Much obliged, thank you. I hope I didn't coerce that picture from you, if you hadn't willingly posted it in the first place. It's very nice; it's no wonder you're so popular around Hollywood.
