Waiting for Godot Part 2: Godot's Revenge!

Mar 31, 2003 14:12

Dear Journal:

Over the weekend, didn't do too much. On Saturday night, I went to see The Core with Bryan, Sim, Randy and Aaron. Before that, I went to Bryan's place for dinner. It went well. Spent most of Sunday writing. Feeling good and groovy about how that's developing. Sometimes, I think I'm doing this and waiting for an opportunity that's never going to come. But that's the thing. I'm doing it, writing and re-writing and editing, because I love it.

It amazes me when I meet people who aren't passionate about anything. How is that possible? Life without passion? That's like My Big Fat Greek Life, a comedy with no laughs. I feel sorry for people who can't answer the question "What do you get into?"

I couldn't really trust anyone like that. So, waiting for Godot or waiting for my moment to shine, I'm going to keep doing it. It's my passion.

Hopefully, Monday will have a quick and easy turn-around. Tuesday will be cool. Wednesday will be...ugh. Better not to think about it. Thursday will be fine. Can't wait for the weekend. Seize the day!
