Dear Journal,
I talked to my mother today. She's feeling somewhat better after her last operation but is still groggy. Scarcordosis is taking a toll on her body but she managed to sound happy and hopefull. I am wishing I could be there right now. I shouldn't worry. That's what I'm telling myself.
Tonight, I feel like being alone but I've been alone for far too much. Fall is here. I am feeling the pull of falling leaves, cooler nights, and all around transition. I will face the world tonight... with a smile and thoughts of the woman I love.
