ok ok updating
I've been really trying to stay in a positive mood lately. This stupid rain isn't helping at all, but I'm still working on it. I'm doing pretty well on my correspondance courses, at about 200 hours now. 800 to go! I had a super busy week at work, and next week isn't looking any better. I can't wait to just relax. Hopefully that day is coming.
I am really starting to look forward to getting married, I might have said that in my last post or two...but it's because it's true. I'll have to do a lot of adjusting on my part, and get used to not being an internet whore. Hopefully we can fin a common hobby, that would be nice. I am really getting into photography, and I can't wait until it's sunny again. There are a lot of very scenic places I would love to take pictures at, and I would love to just take pictures of allison...i could look at that face all day. Anyways, I need to work on my skills a bit, and learn how to use all the stuff on my camera, there are so many settings. Ridiculous.
I am still buzzing from that jump a few nights ago too. The day after that, One of the guys I was in afghanistan with called me up and asked me to come by their team room. He gave me a sweatshirt with the ODA-145 logo on it. That was a really big deal to me. This guy is a master sergeant, The team sergeant for 145. He has been a green beret since I was in 1st grade. He said that I will always be a part of that team, and that I should wear the sweatshirt proudly...and if anyone gives me shit, to chuckle..scoff..and then keep walking, because I know what I've earned. He retires next year, and I believe the entire army will be at a loss when he leaves. A great role model and a good friend. Sometimes I actually like the army.
Well that's about all I got for now, I have a 4day weekend, so I should get to catch up on sleep a bit.
