Doing what's right isn't the problem. It is knowing what's right.
Unemployment isn't a problem, it's possibly losing a job you've had for three weeks because some person can't understand what is and isn't your job which is a problem. These last few days have been very rubbish. I've been getting some seriously annoying and weird people on the phone. People who want all the benefits of an IT system but without any breakdowns. And i want eternal happiness. Neither of us is going to get what we want so we have to go along with what we've got and get the best out of it while finding ways to fix it and improve it.
My big concern though is that some bloke got in from a few days off on monday to find an important part of his business down and him getting some dodgy response from the person left in charge there. I don't know what was said between those two, nor between the boss and my head honcho. It can't be good though, especially as i think this bloke never wants to hear my voice again. Whoever thought IT was a good thing was crazy. Bring back the abacus.
