I gotta tell ya, I sure love Spring. The weather could not be any more perfect right now.
My dad's 51st birthday was on Saturday, so to celebrate, we all headed over to the Dallas Auto Show. The place was pretty busy, but not jam-packed. Along the way, we got a bite to eat at a place called Fish City Grill. It's a small, yet charming casual seafood restaurant with interesting food like "oyster nachos." My dad LOVES the place and is seriously considering franchising a couple locations out in Florida. It appears that this may be his next career move, and I predict it to be a smart one. Franchising is a big step, though... and requires some big sacrafices. As long as it gets us to live in Florida once again, I couldn't be happier for it.
This September, my family hopes to make a trip to our ancestral homeland, Ireland. We'll be staying for a little over a week, doing whatever comes to mind. My 21st birthday is September 6th, and we'll be leaving a few weeks afterwards. I don't think I should remind anyone what I'll be doing a lot of in Ireland...
The semester is beginning to wind down, but it's still been busy for me. Just last night I stayed up past midnight working on an English paper, only to fall asleep in my chair, then save my work and finish it 5 hours later the following morning. Then I fell asleep during History. I don't think I consider myself to be a "model student."
Off to English now.
