It's over. My spring break is officially coming to a close but I'm so very grateful for the great week that I had. Since Tuesday I haven't done much else than eat, play cards, drink, smoke, and sleep. Well there's one other thing ;)
Connor and I ended up spending a ton of time hanging out with our other couple friends Lucy and Luke and it was time well spent. The two of them are adorable together and I could seriously learn a lot from the way they handle their relationship.

On a whim Lucy and I decided to go and get our hair cut on Wednesday. Some salon in White Plains offers free cuts on Wednesday nights for training students to get some practice so we went for it. I felt as though the hairdresser, Jackie, didn't really listen to what I wanted and also didn't really know how to cut a guy's hair so I'm not totally thrilled with my hair cut. On the other hand, I paid ten dollars for it and it's way better than what it looked like before so I'm not upset. To complete the transformation of my look I decided to, for the first time in eight months, shave my beard off. I am still so unaccustomed to the way my face looks. I can't decide whether I like it or not. I think my mouth and jaw look funny naked, but the Sasquatch look was getting a bit tired.

Yesterday was Lucy's 21st birthday and so we feted he in style. Theo made a cake, Connor and I bought some beer, and we partied appropriately. It's safe to say that I am simply not good at beer pong, sober or drunk. We all did shots with Lucy, sang her happy birthday at the stroke of midnight, and ate far too much cake. I was at that perfect state where you're buzzed and nothing is troubling you at all. It felt like the perfect way to end my spring break.

Woke up today and cracked down on my life though. Laundry, showered, cleaned up, finished homework, the whole shebang. I'm hoping to chill with Tash among others tonight, get one last good meal in me and get some sleep. The upcoming week is looking insane. Junior projects, two spring concert pieces rehearsing every day, portfolio due tomorrow....someone help me.
