There's a realy nice image from APOD of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), with accompanying text. The LHC is the largest particle accelator around, and will be finished in May. Please read my entry from a couple of days ago again, and then read this, that made the news yesterday:Scientists who resurrected the 1918 "Spanish flu" virus that killed as many as 50 million people said on Wednesday they are beginning to understand why it caused such a deadly pandemic and say it could happen again.
