I just whacked my hand really really hard on the back of a wooden chair. Like, to the point of I had to hurry up and flex it because I was scared I might have broken something. I didn't, but it still hurt bad enough to make me nauseated and woozy. I had to sit down on the floor and put my head between my knees because my vision kept graying out, even after my hand didn't seem to hurt anymore. Even when my vision seemed okay for a second I realized that I'd just adjusted to the piss-poor level of function that I had going on and all sounds seemed to be coming from a million miles away. I tried to fix my ears but they didn't seem to be fixing. So I crawled to the bathroom, suddenly overly hot and feeling ill, and wet a washcloth to lay on my head and anywhere I was too hot and it might do some good. I lie down with my head on a pile of towels that I didn't use, because it was the most comfortable thing and I couldn't be assed to go anywhere else.
It took me a good ten minutes to feel even remotely human again, and then when I stood up I banged the back of my upper arm against the underside of the sink. Thankfully, not as hard. So I'm going to have some lovely bruises tomorrow, but hey, if a roleplaying character of mine gets beat up or hurt I'm going to have a great thing to reference!

That doesn't make up for it.
