I feel like every time I use sean's laptop I can feel the radiation seeping into my legs...hoo ha
tomorrow we're going to survey a fire station in Queens that we're redoing...I'm really excited. not to survey but about the project...I guess the fire station was built back when the fire "trucks" were pulled by horses and so the floor of the station isn't structurally able to carry the load of a fire truck. So over the years they reinforced it with hundreds of steel columns, and I guess the basement is now a forest of columns! I'm bringing my camera, I think there will be lots of cool things to take pictures of...in other work related blah blah, one of my projects finally went into construction, so I am finally getting some site experience, which is totally terrifying, b/c I have no clue what I'm doing, but exciting at the same time. I've been waiting for this all year! Let's hope for smooth sailing!
