but even more so than the departure of my father, the event that has me completely enthralled is thursday, september 21. that's right. next thursday. not next thursday as in the upcoming thursday, but next thursday. for that, my friends, is the glorious day when the new season of the office begins. what can i say? i'm a sucker for office romances and the faux documentary format. that, and it's the funniest show in the history of television since arrested development. honestly, it's the only non-news program i watch on a regular basis.
