Just a thought…

You think you're media-savvy. You think you don't believe what commercials tell you; you think you know what's good without needing to pay attention to what New York ad agencies say is cool.

But then you buy an iPod, and in a graphic display of the influence of ads on the unconscious mind, you find yourself trying to dance around randomly.

random, life, toys

Please take or provide me a picture of you so I can Photoshop you into iPod stardom! =D

I think this entry should have stopped at "but then you buy an iPod".

First mistake.

I actually really like my Shuffle-good battery life and sound quality, and it's smaller and lighter but seems more solid than my old MP3 player (which was broken within a few weeks of getting it). My only complaints are the lack of Ogg support and the unsightly dancing.

Could be worse. I've sashayed to "You Can Call Me Al" on campus before. (Don't ask.)

Or it could be that there's me singing "Mrs. Robinson" loudly by your window. ^_^
