Darcy
The long weekend continues - we still had a day off today so I went to see Pride and Prejudice with Anna Maija. For me, the BBC series will always be the one true P & P, and Colin Firth the one true Darcy, but this version was not bad at all. In some ways it was probably closer to real 1790's life than the TV series was, plus it had some amazing landscape shots that looked really good on a big screen. I still feel that Keira is too beautiful to play Elizabeth Bennet though. And damn it, I wanted to see a wedding at the end! :-)
Now I'm confused.. I just read some of the IMDB board posts and they keep talking about a different ending, which is shown in the USA but not in Europe...
