ahem...

I'm a fraction behind in posting this, but as of Monday 27th July, I have lost 16 kgs in the last 12 weeks!   American friends, that is 35 pounds!   And how happy I am...

By the way, that just undoes the hell of a sabotage I did on myself in the previous 3 months when I put on about 32 pounds as a response to emotional trauma and physical injury.   ( Read more... )

yay...holidays are good...no, great!

Now you'll be able to pick your photograph rate up again...LOL

Are you going anywhere or doing anything special? I'm interested, as we have so little contact...if you'd prefer to tell me privately, you have my email...

I'm trying. I've been so busy and not had much time for the camera, but when I do find some time I am making images that really make me happy :)

I did nothing on vacation! It was wonderful. I stayed home and relaxed. I needed a break!

and sometime that truly is the best thing. Many people do that all the time, especially young people these days, so the idea of having time off is no novelty at all, as it is the norm, but if you keep busy and occupied then when you choose to do nothing it becomes really special, and you don't get bored easily...

I was obviously mistaken because I don't recall you talking to me about that.

But I'm still majorly proud of you, my friend.

Your dedication to being healthy amazes me. Inspiring.

We have been having more rain than normal for us this summer. It is so nice to see green grass and lush flowers in July...brings lots of cool clouds too! There were these amazing dark ones running across the sky this afternoon. An incredible view from the 8th floor window across from my desk!

Tonight my kids brought some pizza home with them after visiting their grandparents, and I couldn't resist. So I'm really not that strong, but I'll just work a bit harder...

Nice to hear about the clouds - you should take your camera with you to work. Eighth floor windows would be nice...can you see the mountains?

Oh yes! I can look right out the window and see them in all of their magnificence! I suck with a camera though.

Congrats to you! And well done, with all the hard work and the running!

As for my positive thing: IT'S ALL POSITIVE! I retired as of July 1st, and I'm lovin' it! I recently saw Mama Mia! which I love and keep watching over and over again! And, I live in California, and can see the ocean from where I live! I plan to visit it soon. Good Day, Sunshine!!!!
