House Update
So.
Not the HOA.
The Lawyer that the Previous Owners hired because they were behind in their dues and got sued by the HOA put the lien on the property.
[rolls eyes]
Dicks.
Anyway, Ruth and I are going to look at an identical house that is about a block and a half from the one with the lein on it... for $15k less. [raises eyebrows] it's missing the appliances, but I have some cash to play with, and I shouldn't need more than 5k for them. The loan payments will be less, and even if the inside is a little trashed, I can patch drywall and lay tile (You. [points] Get your head out of the gutter) and make the place livable in short order.
So, I'm going to have a snack and go and do a driveby here shortly. Ruth and I will do a walk through in a few hours.
