I've already had a post-Christmas entry but it didn't contain much so I'm including it here in my Birthday post as well. This Christmas was spent with my relatives in Las Piñas. It also doubled as a coming home party for Daddy Jun who just got back from the States. I spent most of the time with my cousins, the younger ones mostly. We had Videoke, played Dodge ball (and got all dirty and sweaty), chatted with our aunt in the States, watched funny videos and went to the clubhouse tiangge to burn all their Christmas money. I brought Jester with us and he was battered to death by my cousins who are taking turns walking (aka pulling and dragging) him. My favorite Christmas gift is a tie between Daddy Jun's Nine West mini backpack and Geo's Alexander McCall Smith book collection. =)
I didn't have plans for my birthday. I didn't want to spend on a big celebration anymore so it was just a pretty normal day for me. Geo went to my house and brought me my gift -- a two-toned white/pink jacket from Billabong.=) We then went to Rockwell to give Bea's Sex and the City DVD order. We had lunch in Cafe Mediterranean where I had yummy Lamb Kebab.

After that we went around the mall. We stopped by Nike because Geo wanted to see if the jacket he wanted was on sale. I was convincing him to buy it already but he said he'd do it some other time instead. So we decided to catch a FilmFest movie before heading home. He wanted to watch a horror flick so we were deciding on Kutob or Shake, Rattle and Roll. I was voting for the former but he decided he was interested to see the 2005 version of Shake, Rattle and Roll, plus it's 3-in-1. Well, VERY VERY VERY BAD CHOICE. There was nothing scary in the movie, from the story, to the acting, to the dialogues. The last story was tolerable. Geo an I were just constantly rolling our eyes and looking at each other and having a telepathic dialogue that goes, "Anong ginagawa natin dito? Bakit natin pinanood to?" Oh yes, I could sense it very clearly. There was a part in the second story where we were laughing so hard because Ogie delivered a line that was supposed to be serious but it was just absolutely hilarious. I couldn't believe it was in the FilmFest. =s
We went back home and had a small dinner with my family. We watched If Only on DVD just to pass time. No, I'm not a Jennifer Love Hewitt fan. I hate her actually. After that, we went to Geo's place to play poker with our friends. I bought a case of beer, my birthday treat. Haha. No birthday luck for me though. I just ended quits.
