And the award goes to Tracks by Louise Erdrich. This was a re-read for a class I'm taking at University. I remembered really liking it the first time I read it, however, the second time around I'm feeling kinda flat about the ending. There seemed to be a lot of themes and twists and details that are dropped for the sake of finishing the story.
Overall, it gets a B+ for great imagery, a strong narrative, and shapeshifters. Yes, I said shape shifters.
