The dust in my room is purple.

Odd, huh?

I discovered this fact yesterday while doing what some have come to think of as the impossible -- I dusted my room. Okay, I started dusting my room. I did the top of my dresser, most of my desk, and a shelf above my desk, along with all the things on top of those things. I have so much STUFF. I mean, not stuff stuff, but just little pretty things like rocks and fans and boxes and shells and statuettes and gloves and bendy alien toys on top of everything, which means it takes forever and a day to dust my room. Also, I am allergic to dust and it makes me feel icky. But I did it! I started! And they say that's the hardest part... right?

It feels really weird walking into and out of my room now, 'cause my dresser's right next to my door, and... it's so black. I was used to it being grey. >< Yes, that's how long it's been since I dusted. All furniture etc. in my room looks/ed grey. This'll take me a little while to get used to, and by that time... it'll be dusty again.

In other news, I made French toast this morning! I'd never done that before, and I didn't even have a parent home to look over my shoulder and say, "those eggs need to be beaten more," or, "that's way too much milk." Or even, "that looks like too much cinnamon." Which would be silly anyway, because cinnamon is like the best thing ever. But yes. I made French toast. And it was actually pretty good! I'm proud of myself, yay. :)
