Cindy went by...the most we got was like winds of around 50mph beating rain around 7am, not bad at all. The surf on the beach is all choppy & unridable….
About 1.5 hr down the road heading east, Panama City Beach has readings of 7.5ft…grrr so why am I not out there catching waves with everyone on this bright afternoon? Today I have developed this annoying cough…UGH & so at home I am…plus I gotta churn out a research paper on Euthanasia due tomorrow...this on top of my sore throat...at least my headache & fever is gone.

The current 5 day forecast has TS Dennis making a direct hit on my town Monday at 8am….it’s awesome living in paradise isn’t it? ::rolls eyes:: I guess it’ll be nice to at least be in the eye of Dennis with however big the eye is for the calm spot, instead of being continuously being hammered with its winds near the eyewall with no breaks.

We haven’t board up windows this year yet, I guess it’s time to do so…then again, my parents didn’t board up for Ivan, & didn’t have any window problems…we only got roof problems & flooding problems….
HaHa I guess BRP=BlueRoof Park…can’t remember PI’s, they were the ones with trailers in the front yard…

Oh and that coastal road J. Earle Bowden Way which connects the 2 beaches together, got flooded again & is closed =( They just opened it last Thurs just in time for the Blues & 4th of July, and not it's closed again! Dude...it was closed like FOREVER since Sept's Ivan visit breached the Gulf of Mexico's water into the Sound, then postponed coz Arlene came along, and finally opened last week, & now it's underwater again...they need to dump more sand there...

surf, hurricane, dennis, cindy, euthanasia, blueroofs
