Awful...
Ugh...does ANYone get sick during the summer???? NO one, except for me...grrrr... ='(
My immune system has been shot... I hate it!!!
Runthru of weekend:
Thankfully my mom was only in the hospital less than 1/2 of Thurs so that was good.
Friday: the ONLY positive day so far this summer, it was an awsome day spent at the beach & for the Blue Angels... ohhh bonfires bring back so many memories, GBHS c/o 2003 is truely THEE best, c/o 2004: ya'll can NEVER be us, so stop trying lol! =p
Saturday: watched the Blues from the Pier instead of actually being on the Island itself, yay stayed away from the traffic probs; went off to Mass; hung out in P'cola & went by the ATO house for a lil bit & spent the rest of the night under the stars with mostly c/o '03ers ...that def got my mind off alot of negative things for a couple of hrs remembering the good times back in high school. Sunrises are so pretty to see especially when it's with friends that I grew up with...it is here where everything is real, and not two-faced like the rest of FL...
Sunday: unproductive day, got up around 3-4pm; went shopping & ran into Ryan S from c/o 2002 (he's the ONLY one from '02 that I have seen since like last summer) ...attempted to do homework when I got home...got ridiculously tired around 9pm for no apparent reason...
Monday: holidays are fun right? not for me...bammmm, wakes up with THEE worst headache & sore throat EVER. This is the FIRST time I have gotten sick this year....took me 6 months to get sick...I guess that's a good thing? But who gets sick in the summer anyways?! Geeez. My immune system can't even fight off something silly like this... gosh I felt horrible with everyone visiting me coz they're cutting into their busy day to have time for me. Ended up spending most of the day in bed like a baby being spoiled with friends visiting trying to cheer me up...I hate feeling like I'm this burden when I'm sick. =( And I missed the fireworks out on the beach at 9pm coz I was too sick! ='(
Learned this the hard way...always listen what the docs say, I'm serious! Ignoring what they had said, I acted like there was no tomorrow... my health (w/all the pills they're prescribing) + stress + anger + alcohol = severely punched immune system... This is just GREAT ::rolls eyes::
And this morning, after taking Tylenol, I managed to get to class. Not fun at all feeling spaced out & lookin like the living dead...grr & I have a research paper due on Thurs!!!! Ugh!!!!
And as Tropical Storm Cindy is getting closer to making landfall about 125 miles west of here, right now it is chest-high out on the beach & building!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (It's supposed to be overhead later on) Yea this means a lot b/c during the summer, we're notoriously known for the summer flat spells...unless there's a tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico. Like everyone is at the beach now catching waves...grrr, where am I??? At home (!!!) because I don't think I can possibly stand the intensity of the heat outside... the hottest it got yesterday which was around 2pm was 105º!!! I'm not kiddng either..thankfully I was in bed most of the day though...
And then we got TS Dennis to worry about next....grrr
now I'm off to my sleep/nap time on my beloved futon coz I'm so tired (grrr i hate the fact my sis has taken over my bed & my room!)
