8-11pm PotC3 dressed as a super cute piratey girl
OMG so that was super awesome... wasn't really planning on seeing PotC 3 this early, I mean it really doesn't come out until Fri technically, but on Sunday, Lynn told me about the first show being at 8pm on Thurs, so went with her & the posse - including her mom - wish my mom was into the same movies I am lol. Lets just say that the ending was pretty predictable, it's a Disney movie, so Will got everything he wanted, and they had gone over how he was gonna get everything he wanted done thruout the movie anyways. There wasn't any weird twists in the story
Love the monkey & parrot & the multiple personalities thing lolz.
It is like 3 hrs long, so make time for it wisely everyone, didn't know it wasn't gonna be that long...well totally forgot that after the credits roll, all the previous PotC movies had an extra scene afterwards...sadly didn't remember that until was out in the parking lot, oh well.
The trailers were Enchanted (totally wanna see this!!), Bruce Almighty (wanna see this too), Rescue Dawn (interesting but an odd trailer to put in front of a Disney movie), Ratatouille (cute), Surf's Up (totallllly wanna see this!), there might have been one more trailer but I don't remember.
Spoilers!!!I totally did not get why Lord Beckett just went down with the Endeaveor(sp?) wtf was that about, weird about some "good business" he was talking about. What was the whole point of Calypso... she just caused it to rain & that weird whirlpool & she didn't get back together with Davy Jones. That was super cool when Tia Dalma/Calypso showed what Davy looked like when he was human. What happens to Elizabeth... is she just stranded on that island, I mean her father, the Governor, already died & she has no one to go back to, then again she's the King of Pirates now...so who knows. Ohhh and I did think the part Will kisses up her leg after the umm "honeymoon/sex" was too much for a Disney movie, people behind us was like, "that should be R-rated" etc lol PLUS when she pulled all those guns out of her outfit esp the last huge one...umm yea, WEIRD...and the part after Sao Feng was tricked into thinking Calypso was Elizabeth, implied that he was gonna rape Elizabeth for Calypso's fury was supppper weird, is this a Disney movie, apparently so. I don't think I would want my lil sister to see this movie basically. Who was the traitor... they kept mentioning about it at the Bretheren Court. Ohhh Keith Richards' cameo was funnnnay being Jack's dad, and uhhh Jack's mom apparently looks great ROFL. Norrington dies saving Elizabeth, awwww. Totally love how Will is the captian of the Flying Dutchmen & not corrupted in appearance like how Davy was (Calypso was saying that Davy & the Flying Dutchmen's fishy appearance was only caused thru corruption of the mind/heart or something like that).... unfortunately he can't be with Elizabeth always, just one day every 10 years...so now he's immortal coz Will's heart was ripped out and this is soo much like an LotR idea/concept....gahhh!!! In LotR, Elrond was telling Arwen about how Aragorn was mortal & that he would eventually die whereas she would live forever in sorrow after Aragorn's death....blah so now Will will keep living forever after Elizabeth dies...blah, so tragic... Loved how Will & Elizabeth got married when they think they weren't going to survive the battle, DURING fighting LOL with the help of Barbossa. Anyways toooootallly LOVE Jack for sacrificing his only chance to be the captain of the Flying Dutchmen & giving that chance to Will coz Will was dying from the mortal wound Davy gave Will, for once Jack wasn't selfish =) But the whole Jack licking everything like his own brain was weird...ewww
Totally thought the part where they yelled out "weapons" & weapons flew into their hands thru the floorboards & the whole winter scene was funny lol....OHHH and another part that was soooo not Disney appropriate, Elizabeth had to take off her pants to be "trusted" and walk around with no pants and the one-eyed pirated underneath the floorboards was checking out Elizabeth from underneath....ewww, so NOT Disney. Forgot to mention, the first 30 secs of the movie is HORRIBLE!!!! Like 30 people get hanged, like 10 every 10 seconds, including a lil boy in the last batch of people that have been charged with involvement with piracy (it was A LOT of people because habeas corpus & the right to a lawyer & blah blah were suspended...horrible!!) I can't believe Disney got away with so much in this movie and it's only rated PG-13...
Last but not least, "peanut!!!!!!!!!!!" ROFL.
