So my strategy to force myself to write this paper through paralyzing writer's block is to listen "Walk Through the Fire" from Once More with Feeling on repeat. For hours.

I do, if only for the epic crack of Dean singing with is Batman voice. The idea alone has me giggling in my seat right now.

Plus poor Cas and his Batman voice.

I don't know if they'll go for it, if only because it was done on Buffy, and that might bring about a negative connotation.

But that's why we make it a clearly deliberate allusion. It's not stealing, it's inspiration! They can even put Joss et al in the credits.
