Updates
1. My mom is doing okay. She's still off work because they haven't identified what it is yet, though, which is really worrying. They were sure it was hepititis, but all the tests came back negative, so they're looking for something else now. She's being a trooper, though. Mostly she's just bored since she's too sick to do much.
She's taking up power crocheting. Here are some bracelets she mailed me and my girlfriend for Pride the morning after I casually mentioned it:
2. Toronto Pride celebrations have taken up much of the past few days for me. It's been really fun, and really affirming of my relationship, and really great to hold hands in public with zero anxiety. Also, we made adorable matching dresses.
3. I finally saw the Avengers, and surprise surprise really liked it. I saw Magic Mike last night and my feelings are more mixed, though generally positive. It has flaws though. (The underuse of Matt Bomer being a significant one.)
4. I am kind of out of the loop SPN-wise. I saw something on Tumblr which indicated S8 is the last season? Is there confirmation on that or what?
5. I finally finished the draft of that Wincest fic I promised awhile back. So give me some time to edit, but I *will* be posting it.
6. Being broke and unemployed really sucks.
7. But I'm still wicked in love and could not be happier with that. So I choose to think of our shared poverty as a romantic adventure, for the sake of my sanity.
