Ok, so why did no one tell me that Barney/Robin OTP was shortened to BROTP? I LOVE IT. I will never ever use it, but it's possibly the most brilliant name-shortening I've ever seen. Barney and Robin; they're bros, and it's the OTP! Not, you know, to explain things that you couldn't get on your own, or anything. It's just that I think it's fantastic. :D
Also, and I'm sure many of you know this already, but I just saw it today, in People magazine no less: Secret Diary of a Call Girl is coming to Showtime (it's a good thing Showtime shows operate on the same kind of seasonal schedule as British ones). It's being advertised alongside Weeds, under the tagline (for both) of "It's a business doing pleasure with you." Which I also think is brilliant. It's also using a fabulous picture:

Doesn't Billie Piper look hot? And how awesome are BOTH pairs of shoes in that picture? Man, I want sparkly green megaheels. I almost bought shiny green megaheels, because they were awesome and looked fantastic, but the shoes ran small so even the 11 was too small for me. Damn. But: to take that picture, was she actually sitting in a giant martini glass, because how would she get in? If that were me, it would involve lots of flailing and falling over and probably a giant broken martini glass. And possibly awkward bruises on my back and behind my knees.
Here's hoping that means we start hearing more about her in the states! Also: has anyone seen this show? Is it worth it? Because it sounds intriguing, but I don't think I'd really watch it if it weren't Billie Piper. But she's adorable, and excellent, and I kind of want to watch it.
