God is missing, the worlds of heaven and earth are reversed, forcing the angels to live like humans while said humans are having a ball of a time in paradise.

i couldn't have thought of anything if not for your prompt! it was an interesting idea ♥ i figured that biblical allusions would work well with this AU, but for the ending i really had no idea what to write @v@;; i was almost ready to stop the fic earlier but your PM came in at the right time haha so i ended up extending it and leaving a cliffhanger... orz

You know, this fic is pretty. In a grungy, gritty, a little slimy kind of way. I like this. It leave a reader silent for a while; I had to close the tab, do some idling and come back to comment this, because I wanted to reflect on it a while. I like how Kai and Uruha are affectionate towards each other, despite their relationship isn't easy and all pink and roses. I sense a longing.
All in all, a beautiful story, which one can re-read any time. Bravo. :D
I felt like this was a movie script and I have the burning desire to read more/what's going to happen next. @_@ Simply stunning, is what this is. I can't even begin to imagine how you think of these ideas and write like this, but it's pure genius. For once, Kai doesn't break the moment the way he usually does. He lets Uruha walk out of the gates of Eden, past his car. Kai waits.
He doesn't want to let Uruha know that for the past week or so, tiny leaves have been growing on the top of the dead tree in Eden.
I still have goosebumps carved into my flesh since I read this.
