God is missing, the worlds of heaven and earth are reversed, forcing the angels to live like humans while said humans are having a ball of a time in paradise.

Can I please squee more over this part? I LIKE LIKE LIKE these types of passages in a story, things that will totally get us hyped and tightly bounded to the narrative. How did you think of this? Just like your vampire story, I want to salute warmly your way of thinking and writing: through your stories you clearly demonstrate that you play along and that you actually think like inside the universe you're writing in. Because of this everything is ever more real and plausible and a reader can very well lose itself in the new grounds of new worlds. You are amazing.
Today, Uruha drove past a group of young angels who looked drunk or high, or were perhaps both. They were clad in bright, flashy clothes, their hair and wings dyed in several different colours. They shouted protests and held signs that said things like DOWN WITH THE SERAPHIMS and ANARCHY NOT HIERARCHY. Here Kai laughs and says, ah it's good to be young.
I TOTALLY am a fan of this scene. It makes me think of a Radiohead movie video with protesters and such and I like to see this world in which angels are very much human VDFBKGFBKGBOKFGOBKFOBGF

i couldn't have thought of anything if not for your prompt! it was an interesting idea ♥ i figured that biblical allusions would work well with this AU, but for the ending i really had no idea what to write @v@;; i was almost ready to stop the fic earlier but your PM came in at the right time haha so i ended up extending it and leaving a cliffhanger... orz
