Queen of Procrastiland:
where procrastination is our main export.
Today's adventure finds the queen on the verge of her first exams and sitting at her computer unable to study. She feels worn down with the ups and downs that accompanied spring term this year, but at the same time is having trouble believing that it is over. Things have been really shitty for our fine queen in the last three months. However, all that negativity has been overwhelmed by great accomplishments and personal growth. Since we last left her royal highness, she has made some crucial decisions and stop thinking so much.
So here she sits. Friday night. A 9am exam on Saturday morning that she cannot get motivated to study. She doesn't need to study for it really, she has a 99.5 in the class. However, she is such a perfectionist that she cannot not study. Even when everyone else is out playing. She would rather sit at the computer and pretend like she is getting things done. Sometimes the Procrastilanders mock her, tell her that she is wasting her time. But she will study and she will study last minute, as always. She will sacrifice sleep and sanity to get that 4.0 this term.
However, as of June 1st the queen shall resign her post and make the risky move to On-It-ville, which must be somewhere near birmingham, where she will reside in a shitty dorm-like structure sans living room. Quite humbling for a former queen. I guess change is always hard though.
