I read On Subbing today. It is very inspiring. If I don't go into teaching art, I'd like to try subbing for a little while. Remembering all of my traumatizing experiences in grade school makes me want to jump back in there and show kids that not all grownups suck. I seriously recommend reading the book ( Read more... )

the best luck i've had is out in towson, for bagels and random stuff atleast. and trader joe's and the naked juice distribution center but i've only been there once because it's along drive and i don't have a car. definitely, we should have a vegan potluck!

After attending the National Conference on Organized Resistance I really started to question just who I was supporting by consuming certain products. And that was in the beginning of march so sometime around then. And hell yeah once I move in I'll definitely help you take advantage of that discount.

I've felt better since going vegan and smoking less pot. It's been a few months for me and my moods are better and I've got energy in the morning, which is nice.

I also discovered the joy of cooking, which I never thought I could do before. But I learned how to make a mean vegan stir-fry and an awesome pan-seared seitan/avocado sandwich.
