Softer crust?

I love baking bread in my bread machine. Though I admit to not having made much of late, but then I haven't baked much of late of any sort.

I really need to get busy baking and trying out more kinds of bread. I usually just do white. but I digress from the point of this post.

My kids love the homemade bread but really want softer more tender crust on the bread. Any help or advice or recipes ??? Your help is greatly appreciated!!
