What did I do worng????

One of the first things to learn about starting up with a bread machine is that things go wrong. Sometimes things go very wrong. This is part of the process. Bread will explode, you will make tasty bricks, things just won't set up, and all kinds of weird things can happen. (I gave up and flushed a batch of what was intended to be Apple Granola Bread down the toilet at one point)

I posted this link in one of my first posts on this community back in 2003, and it's just as useful today.
http://www.breadmachinedigest.com/beginners/troubleshooting-chart.php

It is a page of pictures of various less-than-successful breads next to a listing of what might have caused the issues. Invaluable as you learn the little tricks of your machine and your climate.

I'm also thinking we might try using tags on here to make stuff like this easier to find. I figure that "recipe" is an obvious one, as is 'troubleshooting', so here that is.
