Ill start, my fav recipe so far is

Soft Oatmeal bread

Directions:
In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Welcome! It's addictive, isn't it? My family can't eat all of the bread that I make!

I have to search for my favorite recipe...it's a garlic herb bread.

thanks for the welcome.
garlic herb sounds yummy.
so far iv we only had one bad loaf, (my 10 year old daughter made it, not sure what happened, but it turned into crutons just fine. and once we didnt finish a loaf on time, and that went to the ducks :)
i just made an egg bread that someone here posted about (a few months ago i think) its cooling now, i cant wait to cut into it.

Mine is a straightforward granary loaf.

300g white bread flour
200g granary bread flour
2 tsp dried yeast
1.5 tsp salt
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tbsp dried milk powder
3 tbsp sunflower oil
12 fl oz water

You can jazz it up by adding nuts, seeds, dried fruit, substituting 50g white flour with cornflakes, etc etc...

(Sorry about the mix of imperial and metric units, that's just how it evolved...)

Mm, and I need to get a set of proper cup measures instead of just estimating... Transatlantic cookery is always interesting! ;-)

hi!

i'm new here, too

in fact i don't even have a favorite recipe yet, because i just got the machine (as a hand-me-down from my parents) over the weekend and only made one loaf, from a store-bought package to "ease in" to the process

but i've enjoyed browsing the community and printed out some recipes to try :)

the night i bought mine, i picked up a few box mixes because i didnt know what to buy as far as ingrediants went.
the family loved the hawian sweet bread from krustys, they ate it like desert, so i wont be making sweet bread often, trying to be healthy, not increas our body fat....LOL
