plowing through
So we ordered our wedding bands. And have pretty much decided on the groomsmen shirts and ties, just need to buy them, ditto the favors and boxes for them. And I'm changing my flower plans- forget the online wholesalers- if I go to Pike Place Market the day of and just get bouquets from there, I'll get way more flowers and a bigger variety for way less $$. I want to talk to them about what they think will be available in July. Gorgeous flowers today though- I would have walked down the aisle with any of those happily.
I'm so getting married in a month- this is crazy. I snagged free tourist maps from the convention center for welcome baskets too- not sure what else to put in them though. Stash tea has pretty tea packets, so I was thinking the map, a mini thing of Seattle's best coffee, two Stash tea bags- but what else? We're on a tight budget so I can't get ornate and most hotels have pretty nice toiletries these days. Must hunt more on the WC to get ideas.
We spent half the day getting my mom a DVD/VCR combo thing, getting it hooked up and teaching her how to use it. She actually picked it up pretty quickly though for a woman who is so not into the technorevolution.
Friday I'm going to Vegas for a bachelorette weekend. I can't wait- it's going to be 5 close girlfriends and me, margaritas and the pool/sun. Can't ask for a better weekend- I'll feel guilty if the movers come while I'm gone and Brian has to deal with it alone, but if I come back tan I won't feel that bad ;)
