So, I'm officially on my own now. I have a great apartment (which means I'll be in tears the first of every month as I pay rent) and a new job. Who woulda thunk it'd all happen so fast?
As for the job, I'm don't intend on doing a lot of talking about work outside the office - be it good or bad. I want it to stay in that building as much as possible. I've only been in three days, so I haven't done a a lot. Co-workers and boss are cool and am amused by how certain things work (for a number of reasons).
Things I've Learned Since the Move
- My life fits in a van and two cars.
- I have a TON of: clothes, magnets, bath products, frames, and candles.
- You can buy a casket and urns (for pets too) at Costco.
- You don't have to go far out of Miami to find a community filled with friendly people.
- You don't need to know what you want to be when you grow up to find a new job.
