As mentioned previously, in June, a new resin kit was started based off of one of the D&D
paintings from the '90s. Showed a 3D "sketch" earlier. Following up with more refined photos:
Galileo and I have learned from previous projects and mistakes (sometimes the hard way). We're now applying what we've learned to this project. But that's not the only thing. Over the past couple years, I have also had the pleasure and opportunity to talk to some of the best folks in the industry that do this kind of stuff. When I first went to shows like Monsterpalooza, IlluXCon, and Wonderfest, it was mainly to to see what was going on and to fanboy at the work that everyone else did. Wasn't until recently that I also found it to be a fantastic venue to learn from the best as well. The whole fanboy stage, I will admit, can be hard to shake off at times when you meet someone you look up to. Still though, it's great to be able to pick the brains of artists like
Steve Wang (yay, didn't pee my pants.). Without artists like him that are willing to share info on their trade, I wouldn't be where I am today.
