Dearest Darren and Philip,
Do you find that it's more fun when your friends actually write
in their live journals? I certainly do. Well, you two
have been quite the slackers recently! Phil, where is your
journal entry about our magical night of eating pie? Darren,
where is your book list that you promised your avid readers? I am
seriously displeased with both of you.
David is in Israel. So he can't exactly write, now can
he? Foosy just took a train across the country and still managed
to write a few entries. Gentlemen, we love you dearly and miss
your wit and folly tremendously. Pie-loving-Larry is out there
broken-hearted because you, Phil, didn't "journal" about our
first experience at Bakers' Square. Current events are being
overlooked with no scorching opinion or commentary. My
God...poetry is left un-cited and politicians unquoted! What
treachery! Philip, how can I get through the day without
your wrestling anecdotes swimming through my head? Darren,
how can I go to sleep at night without your daily critique on American
culture?
Boys, I beseech you....pick up your keyboards once more and enlighten us! The world is ever so dreary without you.
(If not, then Darren, I shall sign you up for BMG and send you all the
Hip Hop music and paraphernalia I can find. And Phil,
I'll....well...I will find something equally horrid to do to you!)
Yours always,
Deborah
P.S. This entire entry was spoken with an English accent in my head...splendid I dare say..splendid!
