No Regrets
I'm not afraid to say goodbye, and I'm sure as hell not afraid to start over.
With that said Fort Lauderdale is not going to be a long term venture. Circumstances within this station dictate that the first chance I get I leave.
I applied for a position in Boston. I will do what I can to take the steps necessary to relocate there.
I met good people here but not being able to take paid days off because of short staffing is a deal breaker. I MUST be able to see my family and friends regularly. I don't know if I'll be here 6 months or a full year but I will not stay.
I'm so glad I tried and gave it a whirl. I would rather have it this way than to never know.
