Thank you so much! You know, dyslexic!Jaime actually made sense to me when I read it in canon. I think that was probably a big reason that he ended up being a fighter instead of more of a statesman like his dad. You'd think Tywin would've groomed Jaime to be a Mini Me, right? But he fell short academically, so what else could he or Jaime do? And of course Jaime diverges from his dad more and more, probably to carve out whatever niche he feels he can, given that disability (which seems rather mild by the time he's reading the White Book, so he's either improved or it was never that severe to begin with).

But yes, Jaime always treated Tyrion well, and I think part of it is Jaime's affection toward him and part of it is that he recognizes that Tyrion is something special; at least, that's what I wanted to show here. Thanks for commenting on their mutual admiration. It was fun to write. :)

And thanks, too, for noticing that Tyrion really wants to save Jaime from himself, from his own crazy passion for Cersei. Tyrion drops ALL sorts of hints that she's doing some nasty things when Jaime's not around, but Jaime still can't see it (or doesn't really care) because he's blinded by love.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed this, and thanks for encouraging me to get back into writing. It's been waaaaaayyyyy too long. :)
