Okay. This is officially the worst winter I can remember in recent memory. Woke up today to find the snowdrifts outside my window were about three feet high. See for yourselves:

This last week has been a little rough. To review: as the reader might know from the last entry, my grandfather -- Dr. Joseph Green, Ph.D., to the rest of the world -- was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago, for a mild heart attack. Well, Grandpa's in the hospital. Again. This time, though, it's for heart trouble. He woke up before sunrise this morning with some sort of intense chest pain, so Mom called an ambulance. Word from the docs now is that he apparently had a "mild" heart attack of some sort ( Read more... )
