Yup, this is part of my gear. I pray I can pretend to lose it everytime I go to a call and just wear my firemen's gear (which I'll be getting shortly).
Today Ray showed me around the Ambulance. *drools* I love vollie's equipment. Volunteers are so spoiled. The ambulance was huge inside with the newest equipment and all of it top of the line quality.
I think I made a good impression. He's wonderfully sarcastic, like me, and even though I was so nervous my hands were sweating I could still crack a few funnies.
And then he let me drive the fly car. Oh...Oh....OH. Instant ego boost. How can you not feel cool driving a truck with lights, sirens, and enough drugs to make any drug-lord grin?
Oh it kicked so much ass.
