And thus commences summer
And I can't please anyone! Mom and I butted heads hard on Saturday. Oh well, at least she has stopped yelling. You see...I can't very well keep all my crap from school in a nonexistant space. There is a lot there and I lack storage. The only way I can get rid of the pile-o-crap is to finish the backroom. This requires her to let me move stuff. I mean, comeon, I'm remodeling the entire room by myself and I'm only going to live in it for three months. Its one less room she has to fix up. Can't she be pleased?
Anyways, so, when I'm not working I'm working on my room. Its almost empty and all the wall paper is down. Today I want to remove the metal bookshelves and rug...wash the walls, begin patching and put on primer (?). We shall see.
The EMT practical skills test went well. I missed three points on the total test (one of which I shouldn't have missed because my patient was lying on the blanket and I verbalized cover for heat loss). I definately feel a lot more confidant about my skills after that bit...and I feel more like an EMT.
Somehow, someway I talked Bev into giving me June 5th, aka Open house (or the day you DO NOT EVER DARE to miss from work). I'll show up at work from 7-10 and then run out to Rochester for Ryan and Alicia's wedding. I'm so happy I get to go. ^_^
