I saw someone that looked like you at a restaurant, and meant to get a hold of you. Then I forgot until I saw your LJ post.
I'd like to come up to Toronto sometime this winter, I still haven't broken in my passport. Since I don't have to worry about the financial situation of anyone else anymore, I should be pretty flexible. Any good things coming up I can aim for (I'm busy on Halloween Weekend).
*hmms* Well, it snowed yesterday, so the snowboarding season is nigh! End of December, maybe - January for sure. Dunno what sort of time frame you're thinking!
I'm still waffling on a trip out to Michigan soon-ish to see you and Gir and Damaron and Ciaphas and the rest of the people I know out that way - Hallowe'en weekend is out, but maybe the weekend after that. We'll see, stuff is really insane right now: work, play, personal, and other.
I'm tentatively planning Beer Olympics v2.0 for late November or early December, and it'd be cool to have someone representing the US - especially a pong veteran such as yourself. :) Dates to bes et soon, possibly with your input - news at 11!
Hmm... other than that, nothing really specific going on, though I have SOMETHING going on just about every weekend until December - though nothing that would specifically preclude your presence. So... when's good for you? ;)
A beer olympic weekend could be a great thing after MFF. I was also considering the NYE timeframe as I haven't set plans for that, but unfortunately that holiday falls mid week this year. I'll think harder about it all :)
*nods* Yeah, American Thanksgiving is looking like a strong possibility for the Beer Olympics. You'd certainly be welcome to come up then, if you like. Ciaphas is heading into town that weekend too, maybe you could arrange a car pool if your schedules work out.
As for NYE - I'm out of town for Christmas, returning just before New Year's, but I think whatever plans I have could most probably include you, if you wanted to be around. :)
Well, you're still welcome to come up for US Thanksgiving if you can't carpool, I just thought it might work out to split gas and have some company on the trip. But yes, beer-drinking is certainly not restricted only to special occasions.
Keep me informed on your pending NYE party - I don't have plans yet. ;)
I don't have plans to attend FC, so you'd be welcome then if that works for you! :) Snowboarding should be in full effect by then, too!
