RIP NPT
So, I've been neglecting my LJ for a while. Partly been busy, partly been lazy, partly been on FaceBook, which is interesting but really entirely different from LJ, and I think I will be keeping both.
So, anyways, big news in my life... Newspaper Taxi is no more. The explanation is long and tedious, let's just say that it ended peacefully and agreeably, and we're all going off in our own separate directions.
It feels simultaneously like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and that I might cry at any time. I really did enjoy being in the band, though (as with anything) it had its down-sides too. I don't think I will be running out to join another band. But I do intend to pursue songwriting, with the members of Newspaper Taxi and with my friends and whoever, really... and maybe when I have a suitable array of songs built up, then I might think about recording or performing them. I know I will miss being on stage, so I'm sure that I will come back to that at some point.
And that's all I really know for now... so anyways, yeah.
Also, I mentioned my mohawk in the last post, here's a bad pic of it, it's longer now and looks better, but that's the pic I have so there you go.
