have you ever read a book and never wanted the ending to come? you had become completely enraptured with the plot and the characters coming to life within the confines of your mind. you yourself had become one of the characters and breathed within the bindings of the story. your eyes drank the words with such dire thirst. the duration in which you had been absorbing the words and drifting from the realities of your own life, was when you had been most at peace. you were enthralled with the notion of having the freedom of picking up the literature and being able to be transformed to another realm where your mind had the luxury of being at ease. your mind could be pushed aside because your heart would be all you needed. your psyche meshed with that of the character you most associated with, and reaching the end of the novel would mean the end of an intimate journey.
but by reading that book, you have bettered yourselves in ways that you could never begin to fathom.
our relationship is like that book. you are the character with which i most associate. i never want to reach the end of the novel unless i am somehow miraculously included. and i have taken the liberty and written myself in.
our story is merely beginning to write out itself. as the days melt into years, we’ll pen the ending together.
