Homecoming
Rocky gets back from El Salvador tomorrow night! Whoo hoo! It's been a long five weeks. It'll be nice to have him back. At the same time, I'm feeling a little stressed. Now that I have this video game column at work, it's been like nonstop work, even when I'm at home. And I don't know how I'm going to manage to get it all done once he's back. It's been fine while he's gone because I don't have anything else to do. I guess I'll just have to manage my time more efficiently. It's just amazing how much of your time gets sucked away when you're reviewing two or three games every week. :-P
Not that it isn't totally worth it! The editor in chief the other day told me that she thought my column was "zippy" and that she enjoys reading it even though she doesn't understand it. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Gaming magazine, here I come!
Anyway, I have to go get Rocky from the airport tomorrow night at 7:30. It's going to be a long day. Luckily, even though it's my day off, I'm working five hours at the game store, so by the time I get off there, it'll only be like four hours left to kill.
I will miss having the whole bed to myself though. ;-)
